ATLANTA — MARTA has officially changed the name of the CNN Center station to the Sports, Entertainment and Convention District station or the SEC station.

Over the years, its been called a number of different names like the Omni, Dome, Phillips, and CNN Center station.

MARTA says the new name will make it easier to navigate during major events and improve the overall experience for customers throughout the year.
