ANDERSON, SC — Three men were arrested just months after a deadly shooting in a metro Atlanta parking lot.
DeKalb County police say Mequel Hightower was found shot dead in a parking lot off Kelly Lake Road. He was 43-years-old, police add.
Investigators used evidence and interviews to identify three suspects in this case.
Police arrested 25-year-old Destin Potter in Tennessee.
Police officials say Andrew Montgomery was spotted by police on I-85 north in Anderson, SC traveling in a semi-truck. Officers coordinated a traffic stop to avoid a chase. He was later taken into custody.
The third suspect, 46-year-old Matthew Brathwaite, was arrested in Cobb County.
The investigation is ongoing.
