ATLANTA — A new program from Kroger offers discounts on fruits and vegetables to customers receiving government assistance.
SNAP, WIC, and Medicaid recipients are among those eligible for its verified savings program.
Through this, Kroger customers will receive 20% off fruits and veggies. The grocery store chain says the purpose of the program is to expand access to healthy foods.
