A Florida Highway Patrol official says two people died in an accident involving a Greyhound bus headed to Atlanta.

The wreck happened just before midnight on I-75 in Jasper, Fla., near the Florida-Georgia line.

A car traveling south entered the northbound lanes and collided with the bus and some other cars. The driver was killed along with an  SUV driver, who troopers said was hit by the other driver.

The 13 passengers on board were checked out. Some were treated for minor injuries, officials said. Greyhound is making arrangements to get them to their destinations.
