ATLANTA — Atlanta police and Fulton County investigators are on the scene of a deadly officer-involved shooting near the Heritage Station apartments.

The incident happened on McDaniel Street, where a Fulton County SUV was seen with shattered windows. One person has died, but authorities have not yet released details about the individual or what led to the shooting.
