The GBI made 15 arrests Thursday as the result of a nine-month drug investigation in west Georgia.

The GBI’s West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office and the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force executed multiple warrants and seized more than 38 kilograms of methamphetamine, marijuana, illicit pharmaceuticals and 11 firearms, according to a news release. The street value of the meth was about $530,000.

Officials also seized 34 vehicles purchased with drug proceeds and about $200,000 in cash from drug proceeds, the release said.

According to the GBI, more charges and arrests are pending.
