A former Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver has been ordered to pay $322,992.00 in child support restitution. 

Channel 2 Action News reports that on Tuesday the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector general announced the sentence of Andre Rison who  pleaded guilty in April to a misdemeanor child support violation.  This week in federal court (in Phoenix, AZ) Rison was sentenced to pay the restitution and to serve five years' probation.

Rison must pay a minimum of $1,000 per month toward the restitution, in addition to the $2,358 a month he already owes.

Rison spent five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons from 1990-1994.
