ATLANTA — A Delta flight returned to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after experiencing mechanical issues on Wednesday.

The flight bound for Springfield, Missouri took off from Atlanta, but it returned due to an issue with one of the aircraft’s engines and tires.

The website Flightaware.com shows the path of the flight which made several loops before circling back around and landing.

Delta officials say they are helping passengers who were on board the flight with rebooking.
