ATLANTA — Amid rising temperatures across metro Atlanta, a cooling center opened on Monday to provide residents with some relief.
The City of Atlanta opened the cooling center at Selena S. Butler Park located at 98 William Holmes Borders Senior Dr. The cooling center will be opened until 6 p.m.
Atlanta city officials say bottled water will be provided also.
