JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A Fulton County assistant principal is under investigation after allegations of “inappropriate involvement” with a student.
Chattahoochee High School principal Dr. Michael Todd confirmed in a letter to parents that the school has suspended Assistant Principal Jonathan Adel.
“This allegation is disturbing. Be assured I take the health and well-being of our students seriously and this is a top priority,” Todd wrote. “If the allegations prove to be true, all available action will be taken.”
Todd added the school immediately reported the allegations to the district’s human resources division.
The letter did not give further details into the allegations. Fulton County Schools police are handling the investigation.
Adel started working at the school in January 2020 and oversees the English and Fine Arts department, according to the school.
