No charges will be filed in last weekend's death of a homeless woman who died amid rubble of a razed home that was supposed to be empty.
Atlanta police say 51-year-old Janice Durham was inside an abandoned house that was being demolished May 7 on Daniel Street. Witnesses say a voice was heard inside the house about an hour after crews started to tear down the house. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office has said Durham was homeless.
According to authorities, the contractors say they checked the house before beginning to tear it down, but some neighbors say they didn't see an inspection of the property.
