CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: Police say the couple has been found safe.

Carroll County deputies are searching for a couple who has been missing for several days, according to family members.

Melissa Moran and Daniel Bookout were last seen on Lake Drive in Villa Ricca on or about June 15.

The truck they were driving was found on Lake Drive, but the couple has not been seen or heard from since.

Moran, 40, is described as being 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Bookout, 38, is described as 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Investigators don’t believe the couple has a phone that they can trace.
