DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The body of a man has been recovered from a marshy area near Clifton Spring Parkway and Flat Shoals Road by dive teams on Tuesday.

They were called in after police were called to the area by a family member for a welfare check around 7:45PM on Monday.

The family was reportedly concerned after they did not hear from the person who they said may have gone fishing.

DeKalb County Fire Rescue said a capsized boat was found during that search.
