COWETA COUNTY, GA — Six teens were rushed to the hospital after a crash in Coweta County.

All the teens injured in the crash are students at Northgate High School.

The Georgia State Patrol says the teen driver was going too fast around a curve on Vaughn Road and struck a power poll.

Two girls have serious injuries and had to be airlifted from the scene to the hospital.

The identities of the teens and current extent of their injuries are unknown.

This is an active investigation.
