A Norcross teacher resigned after a math assignment referencing slavery.  Now a Clayton County parent complains his nine-year-old was given a slave math homework assignment, too.

Christopher Jackson says the extra credit question asked, " If a plantation owner has 100 slaves and 3/5 of them are counted for representation, how many slaves will be counted?"

Jackson's son attends James Jackson elementary school. A spokesperson for the school district says the homework assignment went out to 139 fourth graders and was approved material designed to reference both social studies and math.

None of the teachers involved will be reprimanded.
