Dropping DUI charges against Braves pitcher Derek Lowe did not prevent the Georgia State Patrol from releasing the dash cam video of his arrest last month.

The viceo opens with distorted images of two cars racing on Peachtree Street.  Moments later a trooper identifies one car as a Camaro the other as an Aston Martin.  Once stopped, its clear the car is a Porche belonging to Lowe.

When questioned, Lowe denies racing.

"See that little thing right here on the cam, on the dash right there, that camera" the trooper says, "it's got everything on video.  Quit your (expletive) and quite trying to lie," the trooper said.

The trooper also questioned Lowe about drinking having smelled alcohol on the starter's breath.  Lowe denied that too.

"How much have you had to drink today," the trooper asked.  "None," Lowe replied.  "None. Nothing to drink," the trooper asked again.  "Just dip in my mouth," replied Lowe.

Lowe declined a breathilizer test and shortly after that the dash cam video shows other troopers questioning him.

"I don't know what you do for a living, but don't tell me I don't know how to do my job," a trooper said.  "By looking at you ...." Lowe then is heard saying, "I play baseball, and once you say you play baseball, you're already guilty."

The trooper administered a field sobriety test, a test that he claimed Lowe failed.  He also claimed that he slurred his words.   Troopers arrested Lowe off camera.

"Allright, turn around and place your hands behind your back," the trooper says, "you're under arrest for DUI."
