ATLANTA — A man is dead after a shooting in a shopping center parking lot on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Officers responded to the area near the West Ridge Shopping Center on Saturday and found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

Grady EMS attempted to save him, but he died at the scene. Atlanta police are investigating, and the victim’s identity has not yet been released.
