ATLANTA — Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that happened in southwest Atlanta on Monday evening.

Investigators say the incident happened at 509 Roy Street.

Officers were informed that a 39-year-old man arrived at Grady Memorial Hospital with stab wounds, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The identity of the victim was not released. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
