ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a person was shot in northwest Atlanta late Sunday evening.
Officers responded to the 2900 block of Middleton Road just after 11:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a male with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital.
The identity of the victim and the current extent of his injury was not released by police.
Police are searching for the shooter.
