ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a victim was stabbed to death in Atlanta early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the 2600 block of Metropolitan Parkway around 1:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim dead on the sidewalk with stab wounds. The identity of the victim was not released.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the stabbing.
