It’s suspicious.

That’s what Canton police are saying after a man’s body was found Sunday morning behind the Super Target shopping center on Cumming Highway.

Police aren’t sure who the man is. There was no identification on the body when it was found around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Cross bow hunters looking for deer told police they ran across the body in the woods about 200 feet from the store.

The body is described as that of a Hispanic male, between 20 and 30-years-old.

“At this time, all we can tell you is it’s ruled suspicious by our detectives," Pacer Cordry of the Canton Police Department said.

Detectives did not say how long the body had been in the area.

Canton police ask that anyone with information on the man’s identity to call 911.
