Late Spring cold snap coming

In my Spring and Summer outlook posted back on March 1st I said I would not do any SERIOUS planting until between Easter and traditional Tax Deadline Day.

It was March 25th when the global model variants started suggesting a last season cold snap as typically happens in late March and sometimes in April. I think some people call it Blackberry winter or some such nickname.

I remember wet snow covering the grass in Smyrna one April I think in the early 1990s.

I can not guarantee this will be the last frost or freeze for Metro Atlanta until autumn, but it probably will be.
