August weather trends

Shown below you can see that the average of August temperatures in the past ten years has been much warmer than normal, while the five year average was for August to be just a little warmer than normal. Rainfall for both the past five and ten years has averaged near-normal to a little bit above-normal:

I favor the National Models for August and the International Model consensus for August-October, although there’s not a big difference between the two numerical variant groups for August.
