Valdosta State names its 12th head football coach in program history

New VSU head coach Valdosta State Director of Athletics, Troy Katen, and current offensive coordinator Graham Craig has been promoted as the newest head coach of the Blazer football team.

VALDOSTA, Ga. — Valdosta State program named its 12th head football coach of the program this week, according to WSBTV.

Graham Craig, who served as the offensive coordinator of the Blazer football team, has been promoted to head coach.

In his career, Craig served as a senior offensive analyst/quarterbacks coach at Memphis, four seasons at West Georgia, three seasons as the offensive coordinator for the Wolves, one season as a graduate assistant at Arizona State.

He also served as an offensive analyst at Nevada during the 2017 season, before joining the UWG staff in the summer of 2018.
