Smoke Bouie shows why Kirby Smart is always recruiting for Georgia football

On Sunday, one-time Georgia commit Deyon ‘Smoke’ Bouie visited Athens. Bouie was the No. 68 overall player in the 2022 recruiting cycle and comes from the same hometown as Smart in Bainbridge, Ga.

But Bouie ended up signing with Texas A&M, even after the Bulldogs continued to recruit him in the run-up to last year’s early signing period. Now, the Bulldogs have a chance to once again potentially land Bouie, which would help bolster Georgia’s secondary next season.
