GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A woman who was shot in the head at a CVS parking lot over the weekend has died, according to police.

The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Kimberly Whaley. She was shot Friday afternoon at the pharmacy on Atlanta Highway and was flown by helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she later died.

Loganville police say a person of interest is in custody but has not been charged. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact Loganville Police.
