ATLANTA — About a month after Fun Spot Atlanta closed in Fayetteville, Six Flags has announced it is buying the park’s award-winning ArieForce One roller coaster.

ArieForce One opened at Fun Spot Atlanta three years ago and has consistently been named one of the best roller coasters in the world.

Six Flags says it plans to reopen the ride at one of its parks during the 2028-2029 operating season.

Six Flags said the roller coaster will keep the ArieForce One name when it reopens.

It is not yet clear which Six Flags park will become the roller coaster’s new home or whether Six Flags Over Georgia could be selected.
