SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Sandy Springs commissioners have unanimously repealed legislation this week which required sign holders and folks with leaflets to get permission before getting within eight feet of somebody.
The City Attorney recommended the change, saying that fighting a challenge to the ordinance is not worth whatever benefit the law might have.
The ACLU and Anti-Defamation League were concerned about whether it was constitutional.
