ATLANTA, Ga. — Police are investigating a double shooting that happened late Sunday evening in southwest Atlanta.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Donnelly Avenue SW after reports of two people shot just before 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman and man with gunshot wounds. They were transported to the hospital.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting. Police are searching for who is responsible.
