A Rockdale County mother and her one-year-old baby boy were found safe on Sunday, five days after they had gone missing.

The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Danielle McKinley and her son Zaire were located safe. Authorities were not disclosing where they were found, per the ongoing investigation.

The 34-year-old mother and her infant son were last seen around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at the Conyers home she shares with her boyfriend and father to her son.

Investigators who spoke to the boyfriend at the time said he was concerned. McKinley had not taken any extra clothes with her or items the baby would need.
