Cobb County Police have made a gruesome discovery in the Chattachoochee River.  Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near 6640 Akers Mill Road in Atlanta.

The man's body was discovered by two fishermen as they were fly fishing in the river early Wednesday morning.

Investigators are asking for the public's assistance to help the Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office identify the victim.

The victim is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” tall, with numerous tattoos on his body.
