(DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga.) — One of the biggest movie studios in the world is coming to metro Atlanta.
Lionsgate will be the lead tenant at a new film and TV complex in Douglas County.
It’ll be in the “Great Point Studios” located off I-20 at Fairburn Road in Douglasville.
The facility will be on 40 acres and cost around $160 million to build. The production studio will have 11 sound stages, with the first stages set to open later this year.
Lionsgate supported several of Atlanta-based director Tyler Perry’s films.
