HALL COUNTY, GA — A murder suspect wanted in Hall County has been captured.

Authorities arrested 45-year-old Antwane Sintell Thurmond Thursday afternoon at a Motel 6 in Augusta.

Thurmond was wanted in connection with the shooting death of his former live-in girlfriend, 44-year-old Tia Keith.

According to authorities, Keith was gunned down last Thursday night when she went to a Hall County food mart.

Thurmond is facing multiple charges and is awaiting extradition back to Hall County.
