ATLANTA — There is some sobering news this day after Christmas,

Georgia law enforcement report six traffic deaths so far during the Christmas travel period.

That number is lower so far than the Thanksgiving holiday, which saw a dozen people killed on Georgia roads.

State troopers responded to 57 crashes and made 48 DUI arrests.

The Georgia Department of Public Safety will continue to track traffic figures for the state throughout the holiday weekend.
