The president of Georgia’s third-largest public university is leaving the state for a new job. Former University of Georgia provost Pamela Whitten will step down as president of Kennesaw State University to become president of Indiana University, effective July 1.

KSU made the announcement on its Facebook page: “Pamela Whitten has announced that she will be stepping down as president of Kennesaw State University and has accepted the position of president of Indiana University, effective July 1, 2021.”
