ATLANTA — All eyes will be on Atlanta this weekend as the college football weekend kicks off with a couple of marquee matchups at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday and Monday.

The reigning national champion Georgia Bulldogs will kick off their season and the weekend against No. 11 Oregon at 3:30 p.m.. On Monday, Georgia Tech will play No. 4 Clemson at MBS to wrap up the college football weekend. The game will air at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

Those attending the action this holiday weekend will have plenty of things to do around the stadium in downtown Atlanta.

The “Capital of College Football,” will feature an outdoor extravaganza at Tailgate Town presented by PNC, Team Walks built by The Home Depot, and Kickoff Game Football Fest.

Located in International Plaza just outside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, fans can enjoy live entertainment, food and interactive activations, as well as a variety of contests and giveaways at Tailgate Town.

Players from both teams will walk as a team from The Home Depot Backyard into Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Team buses will arrive, and an area that stretches into the stadium will be sectioned off so that fans, cheerleaders, and teams’ marching bands can welcome the players.
