Channel 2 obtains video of election worker being harassed at her Cobb County home

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — As we learn more about the days leading up to the Jan. 6 insurrection, we’re getting a clearer picture of some of the threats and harassment two Fulton County elections workers experienced following the 2020 election.

Shaye Moss and her mother Ruby Freeman were elections workers and were seen in the State Farm Arena video, which is now the subject of conspiracy theorists, even though multiple investigations showed nothing illegal happened.

Channel 2 political reporter Richard Elliot traveled to Washington, DC this week as Moss and her mother appeared before the Jan. 6 committee.

Just days after supporters of former President Donald Trump identified them in the video, Moss testified that her mother called her because people started showing up at her Cobb County home.

“She called me screaming at the top of her lungs, ‘Shaye! Shaye! Oh my God, Shaye.’ Just freaking me out,” Moss said.

We can now align their testimony with Cobb County police reports and body cam video of the incident on Jan. 4, 2021.

According to police, video shows Trump supporter Trevian Kutti talking to Freeman at their precinct.

The report states that Kutti “was an alleged Trump supporter who attempted to get Ms. Freeman to make false claims about the ballot counting for the FBI investigation of the election results.”

The report also showed Trump supporters started ordering pizzas to Freeman’s address in an attempt to harass her.

“At night, people would just continuously send pizzas over to her home, and they were expecting her to pay for these large amounts of pizzas,” Moss said.

Eventually, Freeman testified that the FBI warned her that she would no longer be safe at her own home and advised her to get out.

“They did not want me to be at home because of all the threats and everything that I had gotten. They didn’t want me to be there in fear of, you know, that people were coming to my home,” Freeman said.

Multiple investigations, including one by Channel 2 Action News, showed every conspiracy theory and accusation around that State Farm Arena video simply was not true.
