ATLANTA — One man is dead after a shooting at a BP gas station in southwest Atlanta.

Officers say they were called to 516 Lee St. SW just before 6:30 p.m. in reference to a person shot.

Police say they found a man lying in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics from Grady Memorial Hospital responded to the scene and pronounced him dead.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

Investigators are continuing to work to determine what led up to the shooting.

No details on any potential suspects have been released at this time.
