Atlanta police ask for public’s help with identifying armed robbery suspect

ATLANTA — Police in Atlanta need the public’s help locating a person wanted in connection to an armed robbery in October.

Officers responded to the Troy Supermarket located at 1218 Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW on Oct. 21 after reports of an armed robbery at a business.

Officers say an unidentified male walked behind the counter inside the store, brandished a gun and demanded money from the cash register.

Video by Atlanta Police and Atlanta Crimestoppers show the suspect demanding money from the cash register and pointing the gun at a store clerk.

Police were told that the suspect took money from a safe and gaming machines inside the store and then he fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a Black male, wearing a Black ski mask with Black jeans, and White shoes. He was also wearing a Black hoodie with “Ice Cube” in yellow wording on the front, as well as a Black and White photo design on the back of the hoodie.
