ATLANTA — Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens files paperwork Tuesday to qualify for his re-election bid.

He tells supporters outside city hall that the city may have some challenges.

“I’m ready to be your mayor once again for four more years,” Dickens proclaimed.

Dickens says being mayor is something he dreamed about since he was 16.

He faces several challengers in November. They are Walter Reeves, Lamar Marcus, Helmut Domagalski, Larmetria Trammell, Eddie Meredith, and Kalema Jackson.
