Police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of Karen Lee LaForge, who was found dead in the front yard of a Roswell home on Jan. 17.

James Jerome Lloyd, 31, out of Milton, Ga. was arrested on Tuesday. Petra Elvira Reese, 55, out of Grove Town, Ga. was arrested on Thursday. Both were charged with murder.

Reese is the ex-wife of Joe Reese, Karen LaForge’s fiancé. Lloyd is a known associate of Petra Reese.

In statement released Thursday, Roswell Police said:

We also would like to thank the victim’s family and friends, community members, employees, and the business owners of the City of Roswell and the City of Milton for their cooperation and assistance during the interviews and information gathering in this case."

A woman found dead in the front yard of a Roswell home has been identified, police say.

Karen Lee LaForge, 53, of Johns Creek, was found near the side of a house Tuesday afternoon, Roswell police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Holland said.

A man inside a home on Tyson Circle called 911 about 1:30 p.m.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has not determined how LaForge died and police have not made any arrests.
