Apple says it’ll use artificial intelligence to help crack down on scammers

It says a new iPhone operating system set to be released next month will include a feature in which Apple’s AI answers calls from any number that is not in a user’s contact list.

It will ask the caller for their name and the reason they’re calling.

Then, it’ll text the information to the iPhone owner.

It’s expected that the feature will scare away almost all would-be scammers.
