ATLANTA — The 2023 Atlanta Pride Run was held Sunday morning in Piedmont Park.

The event, hosted by Front Runners Atlanta, kicked off at 8 a.m.

The Atlanta Pride Run is a charity 5K walk and run dedicated to raising awareness and funds for those impacted by HIV.

It is known as the first LGBTQIA+ run in Atlanta.

Organizers said the number of participants doubled since last year’s event.
