ATLANTA — An investigation is underway after a 17-year-old boy was shot in northwest Atlanta Wednesday morning.

Atlanta police said officers responded to the 200 block of Ollie Street around 11:17 a.m. after reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.

He was taken to a hospital.

The victim’s identity and current condition have not been released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
