ATLANTA — An investigation is underway after a victim involved in a “dispute” was shot early Friday morning in Atlanta.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway after reports of a shooting just before 3 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a victim with a gunshot wound to his leg being treated by AFR rescue crews.

Officers also found a “spent shell casing” from the original crime scene, police said.

The victim was rushed to the hospital.

According to investigators, the victim “appears to have been involved in a dispute at a nearby gas station.”

The shooting remains under investigation.
