STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — DeKalb County police are investigating a deadly shooting in Stone Mountain.

Investigators say a man in his 20s was shot while sitting inside a car during an altercation on Sheila Lane.

Someone attempted to drive the victim to the hospital, but officers pulled the vehicle over at a gas station near Central Avenue. Police say the man died before he could receive treatment.

No suspects are in custody as the investigation continues.
