It may be a bad idea to bring your phone with you when you go to the bathroom.

A new study may have found a link between hemorrhoids and phone usage while on the toilet.

Researchers find about 37% of smartphone users spend over five minutes on the toilet compared with 7% of non-smartphone users.

Regular smartphone use on the toilet is associated with a 46% greater risk of hemorrhoids, according to the research team that did the study.
