HENRY COUNTY, GA — An investigation’s underway after a weapon is found at Union Grove High School in Henry County.

An alert sent to families of students says a student was found with the weapon. The incident prompted a hard lockdown, but everyone is safe, and the school says there was no disruption.

The message to parents also says the serious violation of the code of conduct will be met with consequences from the school, and possibly from local police.
