Two suspects accused in robbing a cell phone store in Snellville may be responsible for similar crimes in the last month.
A Snellville Police spokesman says the pair stormed into the Metro PCS store on Henry Clower Boulevard, off of Highway 78 around 6 p.m. Wednesday.
“They jumped over the counter, threatened the victims by putting a gun to their head and took an undisclosed amount of cash," Snellville Police spokesman James McDonald told Channel 2 Action News.
The two employees inside the store were found locked in the bathroom. They were not hurt.
The only description police have of the suspects is two black men who left, with a getaway driver, in a white 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo with silver rims and tinted windows.
Investigators are looking to see if this crew knocked off two other cell phone outlets since August 15th.
They consider the suspects armed and dangerous. McDonald fears their violent behavior may escalate into something more tragic.
