ATLANTA — Get ready for multiple rounds of rain in the coming days throughout metro Atlanta.

Sunday afternoon and evening will bring widespread rain – some of it heavy says WSB meteorologist Kirk Mellish. He says after a break in precipitation Monday, heavy rain is forecast to return Tuesday. Kirk says on and off rain is expected the rest of the week into next weekend.

Flooding will be a concern Tuesday into Thursday. Metro Atlanta rain totals could hit between 3 to 6 inches by the end of the coming week.
